Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: 19 September 2026

This policy explains how BUSTYA subscriptions, renewals, cancellations and refunds work. It should be read together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. First bill free

BUSTYA may offer the first eligible bill analysis free of charge. The free bill analysis lets you try supported BUSTYA analysis before choosing a paid subscription. Any conditions applying to a promotional offer will be shown with that offer.

2. Subscription options

BUSTYA currently offers monthly and yearly subscription options. The price, billing frequency and other important subscription information shown at checkout apply to the subscription you select.

Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. Any applicable taxes or charges will be disclosed as required.

3. Automatic renewal

A paid BUSTYA subscription continues and renews at its stated billing frequency until it is cancelled, unless the checkout information for a particular offer says otherwise.

Monthly subscriptions renew monthly and yearly subscriptions renew yearly. The applicable renewal price is the price communicated for your subscription, subject to any properly notified change.

4. Cancelling your subscription

You may cancel your BUSTYA subscription to stop future renewals. Cancellation does not normally remove access that has already been paid for; unless another remedy applies, your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Cancellation must not be made unnecessarily difficult. Where account cancellation controls are available, you can use them to cancel. You can also contact support@bustya.com.au if you require assistance.

5. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law

BUSTYA does not provide refunds simply because a customer changes their mind. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a BUSTYA service has a major problem, you are entitled under the Australian Consumer Law to cancel the service contract and receive a refund for the unused portion, or keep the contract and receive compensation for the difference in value where applicable. If a problem is not major, BUSTYA will provide the remedy required by law, including rectifying the problem within a reasonable time where applicable.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Service availability

If BUSTYA cannot provide a paid service for a material period, we will assess the circumstances and any remedy required under Australian Consumer Law. We will not rely on this policy to charge customers for a service that we are legally required to refund or otherwise remedy.

7. Subscription price changes

If we change the price of an existing recurring subscription, we will provide appropriate notice before the changed price applies to a future renewal. The notice will explain the new price and when it takes effect. You may cancel before the relevant renewal if you do not wish to continue at the new price.

8. Payment failures

If a recurring payment fails, access to paid features may be limited or suspended after reasonable attempts to process the payment or allow the billing issue to be corrected. BUSTYA will not intentionally create a new subscription merely because a payment attempt failed.

9. How to request help or a refund

Contact support@bustya.com.au with the email address associated with your BUSTYA account and a brief explanation of the issue. Please do not email full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.

We may request reasonable information required to identify the subscription, investigate the issue and determine the appropriate remedy.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when BUSTYA's subscription arrangements or legal obligations change. The current version and latest update date will be published on this page.
