Terms of Use

BUSTYA is an Australian bill-analysis and comparison service. It can analyse supported bills, organise bill information, compare genuine billing periods and, where sufficient information is available, provide monitoring and market-comparison information.

Features may differ between bill types and may change as the service develops.

You must provide an email address you are entitled to use and keep access to your account secure. You are responsible for activity undertaken through your account unless that activity results from something BUSTYA is responsible for.

You must not misuse BUSTYA, attempt to interfere with its security or operation, access another person's account without authority, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

You may upload bills only where you are authorised to provide and analyse the information they contain. You retain your rights in your documents. You give BUSTYA permission to process, store and analyse uploaded material as required to provide and operate the service.

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

BUSTYA uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to extract and analyse bill information. Automated analysis can make mistakes. Results may be affected by bill layout, missing information, provider changes, poor document quality and other factors.

You should check important information against the original bill and the relevant provider's current information before acting on it. Please tell us if you identify an error so we can investigate.

BUSTYA may compare your historical bills or identify other plans when the service has sufficient supported information. Recommendations and savings figures are estimates based on available information and assumptions at the time of analysis. They are not guarantees of future savings.

Prices, eligibility, inclusions, availability, terms and provider offers can change. Before changing a service or entering an agreement with a provider, confirm the current offer and terms directly with that provider.

BUSTYA does not provide personal financial advice. Information provided by the service is intended to help you understand and compare bills and services.

BUSTYA may display information about or links to third-party providers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, those providers are independent of BUSTYA. We do not control their websites, availability, pricing or contractual terms.

Where offered, your first eligible bill analysis may be provided free of charge. Paid features are available according to the subscription options and prices displayed at the time you subscribe.

If a subscription automatically renews, the renewal arrangement, price and billing frequency will be shown as part of the subscription process. You may cancel a subscription in accordance with the cancellation options provided for your account. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not remove rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

If BUSTYA fails to provide a paid service in circumstances where Australian Consumer Law gives you a right to a remedy, we will provide the remedy required by law. Contact support@bustya.com.au if you believe there is a problem with a paid service.

We aim to keep BUSTYA available and reliable, but online services can experience maintenance, outages and third-party interruptions. We may modify, add or retire features as BUSTYA develops. Where a material change affects a paid service, we will take reasonable steps to communicate it appropriately.

BUSTYA's software, branding, design, original website content and related intellectual property belong to BUSTYA or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you. You may use the service for its intended purpose but must not copy, reverse engineer, resell or commercially exploit BUSTYA except where the law permits or we give written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BUSTYA is not responsible for loss caused solely by information or circumstances outside our reasonable control, or by a decision made without checking material information that the service clearly identifies as requiring confirmation.

This section does not exclude or limit liability, consumer guarantees or remedies where doing so would be unlawful.

You may stop using BUSTYA at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably required to protect BUSTYA or other users, address unlawful or serious misuse, or comply with legal obligations. Any subscription and refund rights remain subject to applicable law.

We may update these Terms as BUSTYA changes. The current version and update date will be published here. If a change materially affects an existing paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected customers where appropriate.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Queensland, Australia, subject to any rights you have under laws that cannot be displaced by agreement.
